How wide is the smallest digger?

The width of the smallest machine is 720mm
How wide is the smallest dumper?

We do two very small tracked Dumpers, one is a cormidi coming in at 650mm wide and a slanetrac at 750mm.
How high is the smallest digger?

The Bobcat E10 has a rops bar which can be folded down height is 1200mm.
How deep do diggers dig?

It depends on size, 1.2ton diggers 1820mm and 1.7/1.9 tons are 2600mm , the 3 ton is 2800mm.
What happens if I wish to cancel my booking for hire?

Just give us a call and we will cancel your booking. (Please note: If you do not give notice of cancellation prior to delivery you may be charged)

Hiring

Do I have to leave a deposit?

Yes you have to leave a £ 200 deposit for Tool Hire & £500 for Plant Hire.
Do I need a license to drive one?

You do not have to have a license, as long the property owner is happy & you feel comfortable enough to operate! Our driver will show you the basics on site if required.
How long is a hire day?

The typical days hire is 24 hours, so 24 hours from your delivery time.
What buckets do you get with the Machine?

We supply a selection, 12, 18 and a 24 inch. We can supply different sizes on request.
How clean does the digger need to be on return?

Simply as clean as you can, all our machines are cleaned on return so no drama.

Using the machine

Are they difficult to drive?

The delivery driver can go through the operation of machine with you.
We recommend you spend 30 minutes getting used to the controls.

What about the fuel?

The machine will come with a full tank, you can either top up the fuel, or we can re fill for you at the pump price.
I have tipped over the machine what shall I do?

The machine should be turned off immediately & you should contact us straight away. Never try to upright the machine yourself, for your safety we will do this. As you may cause more damage to the machinery or yourself.’
The track has come off what do I do?

We have an online video to help if you still have an issue please contact us, we do occasionally charge for this
I have a puncture on my dumper what can I do?

Nothing you can do about this we will have to come out and repair it on site, punctures happen occasionally,so don’t worry!
My digger or dumper will not start?

First thing check to make sure you inputted the right code into the keypad.
If you still have a problem just gives us a call and we will send out a fitter.
